How can I get my watch engraved ?Updated 5 days ago

We are pleased to offer a hand-engraving service to make your timepiece truly unique. This service is available at the time of purchase or for a watch you already own.

How can you order your engraving?

  • For online orders: Select the engraving option directly on the product page and complete the dedicated fields. The option will be automatically added to your cart.
  • For in-store purchases: Simply ask our advisors during your visit to the boutique.
  • After your purchase: If you already own a SERICA watch and wish to have it engraved, please contact us via our [contact form].

How does the customization process work?

Once your order is confirmed, our team will personally guide you through each step of the personalization:

  1. Design selection: Our workshop manager will contact you directly to present the available illustrations and help you choose or validate your design.
  2. Final Proof (BAT) Validation: The engraving process only begins once you have given your final approval of the design.
  3. Artisanal Craftsmanship: Your watch is entrusted to our master engraver in Paris. The engraving is performed using the diamond-point technique, ensuring finesse and durability.
  4. Technical Controls: After engraving, every watch undergoes rigorous testing (timekeeping and water resistance) to ensure it meets SERICA’s quality standards.
  5. Delivery: Your timepiece is then shipped to you or made available for collection in the boutique, depending on your initial choice.

What are the rates and lead times?

  • Flat fee: The engraving service is offered at a flat rate of €200. It is performed by a master engraver in Paris using a diamond-point technique.
  • Lead time:Please allow two weeks for this expert craftsmanship.
    • New purchase: This period is in addition to the usual preparation time for your watch.
    • Post-purchase: The two-week lead time begins once the final proof (BAT) is validated by our workshop.

Please note: This artisanal process is designed to withstand the test of time and accompany your watch for years to come.
